The overarching objective of AMPro is to establish a nationwide research network across the Helmholtz Health Centers in order to feed dedicated expertise into the exploration of age-related metabolic dysfunction and the development of “anti-aging” therapeutic measures.

 

Based on integrated and interconnected research objectives, AMPro will pave the way for therapeutic measures in age-dependent metabolic dysfunction as exemplified by diabetes, cancer, neurodegeneration, infection and cardio-vascular disease.
