AMPro Sommer School 2019

The AMPro Summer School took place September 25th to 27th 2019.

PhD and young postdoctoral students working on aging and metabolic pre- and reprogramming  were invited to participate in our summer school. This was a great possibility to build up and/or strengthen the AMPro network at the level of junior scientists. We gave our young scientist the opportunity to present their results as short talks or poster and to speak to leading scientists in the field of aging and metabolic programming.

In addition, a career symposium was organized with the possibility to talk about future perspectives with speakers, chairs and representatives from the pharma industry. We are very thankful to following scientists for chairing the sessions: Michael Milsom, Rudolf Kaaks, Tilman Kühn, Tobias Schafmeier, and Dan Ehninger.

The AMPro Summer School took place at the beautiful Eibsee Hotel in Grainau beneath the Zugspitz mountain.
